What I build, I use myself.
Club management software, a vocabulary trainer, a tool for firewall rulebases. Two are in public use, one runs internally in my day job. Here I lay all three open – and, at the end, what that means for the software I build for you.
Club management
The whole club in one system.
Vernity brings a club's members, finances and communication together in more than 20 modules – from SEPA fee invoices to the member portal. It was built for the allotment-garden club whose books I keep as a volunteer treasurer. It runs there every day.

Origin
I’m the volunteer treasurer on the board of an allotment-garden club and look after its IT. Vernity grew out of that work – built for real club routines, not for a product demo.

Firewall rulebases grow over years. Rules overlap, others are never hit again, and at some point nobody remembers why a rule exists. SamiXone Sentinel is my own analyser for Check Point firewalls. I use it every day in my work as a security engineer.

- Finds shadowed and unused rules and objects via hit counts and cleanup scans. The rulebase gets leaner, faster and safer.
- 02Policy optimiser & concept compliance
- Checks the rulebase against a defined target concept and proposes concrete optimisations.
- 03Automated policy installation
- Installs policies on the right gateways on schedule – with sync tracking and a complete deployment history.
- 04SOC automation with Jira
- Groups correlated alerts into incidents and automatically creates Jira tickets and subtasks for the SOC team.

- Checks Identity Awareness and AD/LDAP mappings so that user-based rules reliably take effect.

Sentinel is not for sale. I show it because it proves what I build: tools that turn manual work on security-critical systems into traceable processes. I develop tools like this to order, too.
